Me and the illustrious author, Mr. William Bevington, after he signed my copy.
Well, what a contribution Japanese Steel is going to make to my bicycle book collection. It is chock full of meaningful information in regard to the history of the bicycle in this country (USA). Not only is it meaningful, and important info, it is delivered in a masterful manner. It is a pertinent piece of bicycle lore that will only become more interesting as time goes by.
Now he didn't create this book on his own. Another fellow Fuji aficionado contributed greatly to this project with his photographic prowess. Scott Ryder expertly captured the essence of each bicycle carefully placing the bicycle frames into the picture frames.
I am privileged to have met both of these gentlemen and am thoroughly impressed by their creativity in bringing this book project to life.
